What is Green Screen Photography?

Wikipedia describes Green Screen Photography (or "Chroma-Key" Photography) as a technique for compositing two images or frames together in which a color from one image  is removed (made transparent), revealing another image behind it. This technique is also commonly used in the Hollywood special effects and entertainment industry.

The technique is used to photograph a subject on a single green backdrop of uniform color. In post production it is possible to select the model in the image from the green color ,and then cut out the model. Then, the isolated model can be pasted into any background. The new background can be any other photographic image.

What is Portrait Photography?

Wikipedia describes Portrait Photography (or simply "Portraiture") in photography as a generally staged photograph of a person or group of persons that captures the personality of the subject(s) by using effective lighting, backdrops, and poses. When portrait photographs are composed and captured in a studio, the photographer has control over the lighting of the composition of the subject and can adjust direction and intensity of light.

At MA Photo Pros, we make sure that our portraits go beyond a simple photograph into something seeking to be artistic. We look to capture your essence, and provide you with a timeless and classic piece of artwork of you and/or your friends and family.
